Can my other pets be there?
Most of the time, this is not a problem. We feel it is important that companions have an opportunity to be part of the final journey. If the other pet (typically dog(s)) is a bit bouncy and hyper, we usually suggest they wait in another room until after the euthanasia has occurred - so as to not take away from the sense of calm. Please talk to us if you have another pet(s).
Can I have more time with my pet after he/she passes?
Typically, after passing, there is anywhere from 5-15 minutes in the appointment to spend with your pet. For those who feel they will need more time, just speak to us and we can make a plan.
What methods of payment do you accept?
At the time of the service, we can accept debit, Visa, Mastercard, American Express on a payment terminal. For those wishing to pay prior to the appointment, we can accept credit card over the phone or EMT.
How do you do your job?
We truly feel privileged to provide the services we provide. We get to meet amazing pet parents who understand that a good death is as important as a good life. We believe that by letting pets die with dignity, we are offering them a cure for their suffering. We spend lots of time cuddling our pets outside of work, and taking down time when we need it.
Are your vehicles labelled?
No, our vehicles do not have any signage on them. We drive regular cars/SUVs.
Do you make paw prints?
We have supplies to make ink paw prints during the visit, upon request. We allow the artists at Gateway Pet Memorial to do this. If you wish to make your own paw print after your pet has passed, we can assist you if you have the supplies.
Will my pet for sure be deceased?
Yes. We have protocols in place to ensure that when we declare your pet is deceased, he/she is for certain.
What are your COVID protocols?
As of Monday, March 21st, 2022, we will no longer require masks to be worn during visits. If you prefer that they are, please inform our team. If you are sick with a cold, flu, or anything that may be contagious, please inform our team so we can make arrangements for a masked, outdoor service.
Chloe has received her sedation and is asleep with her family, prior to her passing.
